Who am I you may ask? Well I'm still trying to figure some of that out. My name is Tim Vroom, I'm currently 24 years old and was born on September 20, 1978. I grew up in Zeeland, Michigan. I then made the move to Holland, MI and went to Hope College for 4 years to get my degree in Computer Science. Along the way I got involved with the Everything Development Company and got the pleasure of building perlmonks.org. The site has taken on a life of its own. I've even won some awards from the Perl Community as a result. The site while successful in many ways never became very successful at generating revenue. Real life kicked in and I got areal job working for Northrop Grumman as a Contractor at the City of Grand Rapids. I do web development with an emphasis on development of mapping applications to support.
